    • Epilogue: Remorse

    This achievement is missable.

After you lie to Malik and he goes away, you have two options:

    1. Escape the city by boat

    2. Repair the radio to apologize to Malik

In both paths, the game will end but this achievement can only be got by repairing the radio.

To repair the radio in this scenario, you need a lot of components and parts but also a special item called Radio parts.

You can get the radio parts by talking to the trader that comes every 3 or 4 days.

He will open a new area and you will have to fetch an item for the trader in exchange for the radio parts.

Two bandit will be in this new area, you can wait until they are done talking, one goes to smoke and the other to sleep.

You can kill them easily if you wait, grab the item and go back to your hideout.

After a few days, the trader will return and you can exchange the item for the parts.

Fix the radio from the workshop (crafting table, where you build most things) and then use the radio, sit back, end the game and get the achievo.

TL:DR Lie to Malik, DONT escape the city by the Port, fix the radio!

    Cheers!

    • Note: No more tears

I did this in the story workshop.

You can select up to 4 survivors, in theory you could get one good scavenger, a counselor to help the child overcome depression and the guardian/child pair.

According to the wiki, these are the survivors with the highest empathy and their console (talking) to the child will be more effective:

    Zlata, Cveta, Boris, Adem, Psychologist

    TWOM Wiki: moods (https://this-war-of-mine.fandom.com/wiki/Moods)

I selected Marko, Livia and Christo and Iskra.

I wanted to see if the war ending on day 20 will also give me the Livia Achievement.

I like Marko as a scavenger.

Anyway, The key here is choosing your city, in story workshop you can choose to never have winter days, reduce the war to 20 days and customize your city map.

This last part is the key, choose certain locations because the decisions you make in those places can be mood boosters or destroyers.

So, pick locations for your run that will help modify mood: For example,

Sniper Junction: You can help the man get to his baby (Mood booster) or ignore him (Mood destroyer).

Garage: Trading medical supplies to the man will improve shelter mood

Supermarket: Rescuing the girl will also improve the mood, getting Christo killed by the solder will bring the child two mood levels down.

Check the full list of special events here:

    TWOM: Special Events (https://this-war-of-mine.fandom.com/wiki/Special_Events)

I suggest you kill off the parents and do one or two negative events to break the child mood, do not let the child sleep in a bed or feed them.

While that is going on, gather supplies, specially food.

One the child is broken, you need to bring the mood up.

    Do positive events.

Talk to the child with your most empathic person, twice a day if possible.

Make the child sleep in bed every night (with a guardian if you decided to let the guardian live and killed someone else instead)

Make the child be in the "Well fed" state.

Toys wont work, since the child will be too depressed to do anything.

The achievement unlocked for me once she was back in Sad state, not normal.

And thats it, I think the hardest part is making the kid broken but with the dead of the guardian and one or two bad events will do the trick.

Let's enjoy our achievement, we cruel beings.

    • Epilogue: New life

I did it using a custom story, I dont know if they are going to patch it or not in the future but you dont need to do this in the 40 day scenario, there is a much easier way to do it.

Go to the Workshop Centre->My Story in the final cut and assemble your dream team with Livia included.

Disable Winter and set Days Until Ceasefire to 20.

    Intensity of Conflict to Low.

Open the City Map and pick the best locations, pick whichever places you want!

The Garage is awesome since you can trade things for tools like Axes and Saw Blades.

This way, you can just play the game with Winter disabled (no fuel worries and dont have to build a heater or people getting sick)

You will still get raided every 4 or 5 days so keep your guard up, upgrade your workshop to board up windows.

The workshop story will end on Day 20, keep Livia alive until then, remember to feed your people every two days and you'll be fine.

    Easy peasy, baby!~
