Anomaly coins are granted to you for completing anomaly investigations, and by Bahari for completing his anomaly research requests.

You mainly should be going for quests with triple targets. These can grant very high amounts of coins (up to at least 70 coins for a single quest as of TU3), much more than what Bahari will give you.

As a rule of thumb, higher level quests with harder monsters have the potential to grant more coins, but this doesn't mean they all will. When repeated, a quest will always grant roughly the same number of coins, so you should try various triple monster quests until you find one with a high payout that you can reliably complete, and then repeat it.

Don't forget to lock quests with good rewards so they don't disappear. When you can, try to do triple target quests that match Bahari's request, as it is still a nice bonus.

Always go for your anomaly research target when you can. The reward will initially be 100 coins for 10 quests. Once your level reaches 101, this will get increased to 150 coins (You will need to complete your current set of 10 quests for the reward to update).

Incidentally, doing research requests gives you more research exp, which will let you reach level 101 faster.

Once you reach level 91+, try to lock one quest for each monster so that no matter what research target you get, you have a corresponding quest. In my experience, the required quest level never goes above 91.

During investigations, breaking parts, gathering from afflicted material nodes and killing monsters has a chance of adding more investigations to your list with the same number of stars +/- 1. If you do not have any high level investigations for early game monsters, you can backtrack from harder monsters. For example, you can do a lvl120 A6★ quest to get lvl120 A5★ quests, then do one of those to get lvl120 A4★ quests, then do one of those to get lvl120 A3★ quests, etc.

Finally, you will get additional coins at the end of investigations with multiple targets, so seek those out as well if possible.
