Ok, so.. for this achievement you need to finish all the main game from chatper 1 to chapter 7 by yourself.

    Never recruit a single character.

The problem is, Imoen joins you at the start of the game whether you like it or not.

I messed up my run by not kicking her of the party as soon as I could.. and now I have to make the run again >.<

So, talk to her and kick her out ASAP, some people even say you can attack her and kill her before she even speaks, but Im not sure about that.

If you dont know how to kick party members, just a reminder:

    1. Go to your status screen (button that looks like a head to the left)

    2. Click on Reform Party

    3. Click on Imoen's Portrait

    4. Click on Remove

Edit: Its been several months now and I finally got it, kicking Imoen in the first area worked.

I also accepted Drizzt help and still got this.

Be careful of NOT recruiting Imoen back after you rescue her, those dialogue choices are a big trap!

    • Worst Day Ever

Easier to do if you start a new game in Throne of Bhaal.

1)Create a Cleric with Poison and Lesser Restoration, make him have very low Wisdom and Constitution scores, as low as you can.

2)Create a Mage with Contagion, make him have Intelligence as high as you can.

3)Start a new game, remove all equipped items from Cleric.

4)Cast Lesser Restoration on the Mage, the Cleric will get Fatigued.

5)Cast Contagion on the Cleric until he gets a Disease, it might take several tries.

6)Cast Poison on the Cleric until he gets Poisoned, might take several tries.

    Achievement unlocked!

    • Divine Domain

To get this, you will need to destroy the cult of the Unseeing Eye and have your main guy, your PC a cleric.

Its better to do this one on your cleric run, since you also need a lvl 30 cleric for another achievement.

You can read a guide about doing this quest in Close the Eye.

The achievement will unlock once you talk to the temple master about the cult's destruction and they will offer you the cleric stronghold.

    Cheers.

    • Light in Darkness
    • Shadow Dragon Slayer
    • Cabin In the Woods

    An excerpt from: http://mikesrpgcenter.com/bgate2/subquests.html

The quest is called : Investigate the Deaths in the Umar Hills

This quest is also tied to the achievements: Shadow Dragon Slayer and Cabin In the Woods.

A child in the Government District named Delon will ask you to help his village where people are disappearing and being turned inside out.
Go to the Umar Hills. Just to the west you will see Minister Lloyd trying to calm the people.
Speak to Minister Lloyd in his house to the east. He will tell you what has been happening in the village. He will offer some suggestions as to what people think is causing the problem.
Go north and speak to Madulf, the leader of the renegade ogres. He claims that his group has nothing to do with the deaths and that even some of his members are missing as well. He will also ask you to bring a proposition to the mayor of Imnesvale. This is a separate quest.
West from the village you'll find the ranger's cabin. Inside is Merella's Journal and a note from Mazzy Fentan. Both indicate that the wolves are likely the cause of the problem and show the location of the wolf lair on a map.
Leave the area and travel to the Temple Ruins that are now on your map.
Go north from the point where you arrive in this area and enter the wolf cave. A werewolf named Anath will tell you that her clan was killed by the Shade Lord and then ressurected as shade wolves to serve it. She will tell you that she seeks vengance against the Shade Lord.
In the northeast corner of the area, you'll find the temple ruins guarded by Shade Wolves and Shadows. Anath will be there as well and will tell you to adjust the mirror to brighten the area.
Descend into the dungeon. Defeat the Shadow Jailor to the west and take the Shadow Prison Key from its body. Free Mazzy from her jail cell for 12250 experience and she will give you information about the temple and will offer to join your party.
To the south is a room with a glowing gem on top of a pillar. When the Shadows enter this room they will be destroyed by the light. Once all the shadows are dead, take the Sun Gem from the pedestal and use it to open the glass door in the hallway by the entrance.
Take Amuana's bones from the Shade Wolf room by the entrance to the spirits just south of the lava room. They will be released and the spirit of Amuana will appear. She will give you the Shadow Dragon Wardstone so that you can sneak by the Shadow Dragon and the Dawn's Light Symbol.
Continue through the temple ruins until you reach the room with the letters on the floor. To get by, step on the letters spelling Amaunator's name. That is, first step on the 'A' in the bottom right, then step forward, left, forward, forward, forward, left, forward, forward, forward.
Defeat the Bone Golem and take the Sun Gem from the statue. Use the Gem to open the next glass door.
In the room next to the Statue of Amaunator, you'll find a shadow who will ask you for help. In the corner of this room you will find the Lightstone Symbol.
Read the Morn Ritual, Noontide Ritual, and Dusk Ritual found throughout the Temple Ruins to learn the rituals to praise the Sun God Amaunator. Speak to the statue in the north corner of the area and answer his questions about the rituals successfully to pass the test and recieve the Sun Ray Symbol. For each question you are given three choises. The correct responses are 2, 3, 1, 3, 1, 1, 1, 3, 2.
Once you have all three symbol pieces, they will merge to form the Symbol of Amaunator. Use this to open the door to the Shade Lord's lair.
Climb the stairs behind the door and you will be in the liar of the Shadow Dragon Thaxl'ssillyia. He is very difficult to defeat so don't even try unless you are powerful. If you have the Shadow Dragon Wardstone, you can sneak by without waking him.
At the top of the stairs you will meet the Shade Lord by the altar. Defeat the him, the Shade Altar, and the shade Patrick to rid the area of his shadowy evil.
Speak to Merella lying where the Shade Lord was. She will thank you for freeing her before she expires.
Report you success to Minister Lloyd in Imnesvale to receive a reward. If you are a ranger, he will offer you Merella's cabin.

    -------------------------->Shadow Dragon Slayer
Killing this dragon is super missable since its in a sidequest and even in the quest you can just use a route to sneak past him instead of fighting and killing him.

The sidequest is Light in Darkness.

During the quest, instead of sneaking past the dragon, talk to it and a fight will insue.

You can read more about the dragon's powers and attacks as well as strategies to fight him here: https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Thaxll%27ssillyia

All in all, its not a difficult fight if you do it with a high level party, maybe after finishing throne of bhaal and black pits.

    Cheers!

    -------------------------->Cabin in the Woods
With your main character as ranger (or any of its subclasses) you need to finish the sidequest: Investigate the Deaths in the Umar Hills

This quest is also tied to the achievements: Shadow Dragon Slayer and Light in Darkness.

Read the guide for Light in Darkness for a full walkthrough of how to complete the sidequest.

    • The Great Detective

This is a bit of a time waster if you dont know where to go and what to do so here you go:

Go to the Bridge District where you will start the quest as you enter, an event will start.
Speak to Rose Bouquet next to the Five Flagons Inn and ask her what she knows about the murders. She will tell you that she smelled Guril berries or something like that.
Ask the merchant Bel Dalemark nearby what smells like Guril berries and he will give you samples of three things that smells like that: Guril berries, Solik berries, and Oak Bark.
Show these three items to Rose and she will identy the Oak Bark as the correct smell. Bel Dalemark has told you that Oak Bark is used by the tanner.
Speak to Rampah, the beggar, northwest of the Five Flagons Inn. Pay him some money to buy the Exotic Hide that he found by the murder victim.
Show the Exotic Hide to Bel Dalemark and he will tell you to ask Rejiek the tanner about it.
From the Five Flagons Inn, go down to the docks and follow the path to Rejiek the tanner's house.
With both the hide and the smell pointing to Rejiek, he will admit his guilt flee downstairs.
Follow him to the next level and you will find lots of bodies. Beware of traps! You will also find a shirt made of human flesh and a letter from Rejiek's master.
On the next level, a mage named Vellin Dahn will flee with Rejiek and you will have to fight some enemies.
Report your finding to Aegisfield at the north end of the Bridge District to receive a 500 gold reward and 45000 experience.
    Cheers!

    • Close the Eye
    • A Battle for the Ages
    • Family Matters
    • Divine Domain

Close the Eye is best done while going for A Battle for the Ages, Family Matters and Divine Domain achievement.

First, swing by Bridge district, in the building to the left of Delosar's Inn, you will see a house with two doors, one door leads to Twisted Victory and the other to a normal house, in this house find the stairs down and you will enter a tomb. Open the sarcophagus and fight the lich. Obtain the Golden Torso for A Battle for the Ages.
Next, go to the Temple District and listen to Gaal's speech, wait a while and the master of a nearby temple will come and ask for your aid.
Speak to the Master to start the sidequest: Investigate and Destroy the Cult of the Eyeless
Go down to the sewers from one of the open access points in the Temple District streets, you might need to lockpick one to go down.
In the northwestern part of the sewers, find Keldorn, agree for him to join the party, exit to the NW.
In the next area, go southeast and then west until you see Gaal.
Refuse to join the cult but do not anger/kill him yet.
    Save the game here.
Agree to join and do a quest for him, you will get a special key this way (if you kill/anger him here, the key will be gone forever)
Go north and use the key to open an area, agree to Sassar's quest and then open the sarcophagus here and get Golden Arm and Leg for A Battle for the Ages.
Here you have a choice: continue the Cult quest or deliver the Golden bones to Kangaxx, get A Battle for the Ages then reload and kill Gaal for a quick resolution.
If you decide to kill Gaal:

Deliver the bones to Kangaax in the building between the Sea Bounty and Mae'Var's Guildhall in the Docks District, achievement get!
Save in a new slot, just in case you are too weak for the next part, I did this with my Lvl 30 Cleric and his party and it wasnt that hard of a fight.
Reload your game, talk to Gaal and anger him by telling him he is gonna die.
Kill him and everyone you see, a boss will appear in a few seconds, kill it too, if its too hard for you, you will need to go the long way around afterall.
Return to the temple and the achievement will unlock along with Divine Domain.
If you decide to go the long route to keep the Kangaax rewards, then you will need to do a whole lot of additional steps:

Go west from Sassar and into a new area.
Go west and answer the riddles: Life, Time, Current one.
Defeat the enemies you find across the bridge.
Enter the temple and talk to the being there, you will get a part of an item.
Return to Sassar and show him the part, he will tell you where to get the other part.
Go into Gaal's cult area and speak to an NPC called Tad, the passphrase is "The Eye is Blind", he will show you the way into the boss's lair.
Enter the area behind Tad and then cross another area to finally enter the Pit of the Faithless.
Find the part you are looking for in the southeastern area of the Pit of the Faithless, put the device in a quickslot.
The boss will ambush you here, use the device on it to cripple it and then finish it off.
If you want a cool shield, go back to the Lower Reaches with the being that gave you the first part of the device.
Go back to Gaal, he will be a little angry you killed his God, they all will attack, proceed to the massacre.
Return to the temple and the achievement will unlock along with Divine Domain.

After this, proceed to finish Family Matters.

    Cheers!

    • Leave No Friend Behind

This one unlocked for me before the final fight in chapter 10, but it was mighty strange.

I reloaded before the final fight and using the spirit of fate summoned 5 companions to create a full party, I was going for: Sacrifices Must Be Made

So yeah, a way to unlock this is to get to the last fight without dying and then summoning a party to go into the last fight with you, thats how it unlocked for me.

I read confirmations that any companion that dies while NOT in your party does not count against this achievement. (Bodhi and a lover)

I also read that some people with less than a full party found this achievement does not unlock for them, so I suggest you have a full party for this.

I also think you can pull this off in Volo mode (easiest mode) but I personally did it on Normal.

Im not sure if this also unlocks at the end of Chapter 7, but since I soloed that part, I cant get confirmation.

    Anyway, best of luck!

    • Time to Slay

This one is a little tricky if you dont know what you are looking for.

In Chapter 4, you will turn into Slayer form automatically.

To get this achievement, you need to press a specific ability button to turn into Slayer form.

    So to get this:

First, Transform into Slayer form in Ch4 (storyline, unmissable, even though you took the form of the slayer here, this wont unlock the achievement)

    -From here, everything is missable-

Sleep a few times until you dream of Imoen and killing your party as a Slayer.
Sleep a few more times, three or four more times, to get a dream in the tree of life.
Not 100% sure if you need to have cleared the tree or not to get this dream
Now you have the power in your special abilities menu (Press F12)
Save here.. this power is very evil..
Use it, a confirmation will appear, accept and turn.

    Achievement get!

Reload and go on your merry way!~ 😃

    • Twisted Victory

The first step towards this achievement is getting hold of a Rogue Stone.

Read more about this item here: https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Rogue_Stone

It will also tell you where to get one, there are a few locations.

The Rogue stone looks like a rainbow-colored sphere/marble.

I personally got it from the Shade Lord as I finished the achievement Light in Darkness

Once you have the stone, go to the Bridge District and to the house left of the Delosar Inn, this house has two doors.

The left door just goes inside the house but the right door is both trapped and locked.

Use a thief to disarm the trap and unlock the door.

    Save here.

Without the Rogue Stone, you will only see darkness but with the stone, you will be able to teleport elsewhere.

You will encounter some people and a fight will ensue, its a tough fight if you are underleveled or underequipped.

Grab the beholder eye and drop it in the blood pool in the northeastern part of the room.

Now you can use the lever on the northwest side of the room, use it and you will escape.

    Achievement unlocked!

    • I Dub Thee

    Another highly missable achievement.

You can recruit Anomen at the Copper Coronet Tavern in the Slums District.

After a few days of travelling with him, a messenger will arrive announcing Anomen's sister's murder.

Go quickly back to the Government district and into the rightmost mansion south of the central square.

Talk to Anomen's father and then convince Anomen to seek justice NOT revenge.

This is the part where you can mess up, if you seek revenge, Anomen will NOT be able to join the Order.

So, after seeking justice, go to the Government Building and speak to Bylanna.

Leave the matter and continue on your quests, after a few days, a Knight will talk to Anomen and tell him to go to the Order to be judged.

Make sure you have an heroic reputation (16+) before going to be judged.

You can get positive reputation by donating to churches and doing positive sidequests.

The Order is in the southwest corner of the Temple district.

    Save before going in.

If you did it correctly, you will be judged and allowed to join the Order, the achievement is yours!

    Cheers!

    • Homecoming

To start this quest you need Jen Jensen in your party and after 15 days of him travelling with you, a cousin of his will find you with a message.

You must be outside the main city for his cousin to appear.

After talking to the cousin, Go to the Slums district and find Jan's home. Its a house in the southeast part of the district, right of the Copper Coronet, up some stairs and close to the east border.

After agreeing to help, go to the house's basement and talk to the Uncle.

Now go talk to Lady Jysstev in the Jystev State in Government District (its the leftmost mansion a little south of the central square left to Daril state) she will arrange a meeting in the sewers below to Copper Coronet, the sewer entrance is behind a secret door, in the east section of the tavern, go there.

You will learn that The Hidden will be on the southern end of the little sewerage river, save before talking to him then agree to his deal.

Go to Sea's Bounty Tavern in the Docks district and talk to the tavernkeeper, tell him you are a Seeker, now need to go to the second floor of the Five Flagons Inn in the Bridge District. After getting there, talk to the people there and finish the fight, return to the Hidden in the sewers then return to the Slums district and talk to Jan.

Be kind to Jan and talk him into rejoining the party, achievement unlocked!

Oh boy, what a runaround and unsatisfying ending, but hey! you also need these type of outcomes to appreciate the good ones.

    Cheers!

    • To the Limit

This one is sort of a hidden quest because even if you find a limited wish scroll, there are a lot of options for your wish but only ONE is the path to unlocking this achievement.

You can read more about the limited wish spell here: https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Limited_Wish

The easiest place to find one scroll is in Adventurer's Mart in Waukeen's Promenade, its close by to where you start the game after escaping the starting dungeon.
The scroll costs about 2000 to 3000 gold pieces, I believe you can also steal it from the merchant if you have a good pickpocket.

You can read the wiki for an additional 2 locations but they are tricker to get.

Once you have the scroll, you need someone who can read mage scrolls and use it.
The spell is a Tier 7 spell and you would need a high level mage to memorize the scroll instead of using it.

Once you use the scroll, a Genie will appear and it will give you tons of options.
Out of the more than 15 options available, you need to choose "A one-time wish" → "I wish for an adventure like none I've ever experienced before."
The character who uses the scroll needs a Wisdom Score of 10 or above for the option to appear.

Once its done, the genie will disappear without telling you what to do next.
So this is a quick rundown of what you need to do and Im paraphrasing from https://baldursgate.fandom.com/wiki/Limited_Wish_Adventure

Go to the Shadow Thief merchant Aledrian (found in the Slums), buy or steal a Wand of Frost, you can also get one in Deirex's Tower in Ust Natha.
Go to Delosar's Inn in Bridge District
Talk to Vittorio, agree to help him then enter the Inn
Talk to Dennis, find out about the missing Gong, agree to get it back
Go to the Sewers and find Roger the Fence in the central southern part of the sewers
Kill the Sea Troll in the Southwest part of the sewers, go back to Roger and ask for information as a reward
Travel to the Druid Grove, go to the Southwest of the map and attack Grea, get information from her on where to go next.
In the same map, go to the northeast and enter the easternmost building and talk to the Ogre Mage
Agree to exchange your wand of frost for the gong

Return to Dennis and give the Gong back, achievement get!
    Fun stuff, huh?

    Cheers!

    • A Sister's Sacrifice

Regardless of what other guides say, you dont need to start Chapter 8 with Imoen in your party.

Once you arrive at the pocket dimension (after the first fight with the bounty hunter) talk to Sarevok and refuse his deal.

Then, talk to the Fate Spirit, its to the left of Saverok, the fate spirit will enable you to summon any companion you want.

    Choose to summon Imoen.

Talk to Sarevok again, ask Sarevok if there is some other way to restore him.

Imoen will accept to sacrifice part of her soul for the information, agree to this.

    Achievement unlocked!
