    • Master Alchemist

This Area is open from the beginning of the game but its one of the trickiest base areas to master along with Hunting Grounds because of the random pathways made between the red and blue paths.

As you may now know, red slimes cant enter blue tiles and vice versa, so, when you kill a slime of a color, all tiles in a 2 tile radius around the slime change to that slime color, along with any other slimes in that radius, that means that when you kill, you must be aware of the new terrain you will create along with new enemies.

The orb of speed is super useful here and if you can get to one, you should make it a priority over going into a pathway with a dead end, treasures and orb tiles count as the color of the tile you are on, so you can use that as a choke point or as a means to escape.

If you see you are being followed by a horde of slimes a little behind you, try to quickly change the color you travel by killing a slime of the opposite color, that way, you will block the horde of slimes and they will be left behind.

Again, if you are in a tough spot, killing a slime may not be the best way to escape, since it opens a whole area for other slimes to flank you, its best to see if you can escape through another pathway or switch colors altogether.

Here is a video of my experience getting all 50 treasures with only speed orbs to help.

    • Master Necromancer

The Graveyard is added to the area spawn pool after you get 100 kills of any kind (except vines), once you find one, you will see that it has a very peculiar design. You can only travel along the hexagons.

The enemies here are ghosts, zombies, necromancers and shadows.

The threat of this area is letting ghosts flank you inside the grave tiles while being approached by zombies/shadow/necromancer on the normal ties, remember that since you are on hexagons, being flanked is going to be stalemate and game over.

Ghosts have a special rule that they can never be adjacent to one another, use this to yo9ur advantage.

You cannot kill shadows, fortunately, they are not that aggressive and rare.

The necromancers are the ones to watch for, they turn fresh grave tiles into zombies/ghosts and if you do not stop to cull a fresh horde, they can add up if you keep running away, so if you see a necromancer creating a ton of mobs, stop and figure a way to kill the horde before moving on.

Once you get enough treasures, the Haunted Woods might spawn, for this achievement, ignore going into the woods and just move around the graves.

Here is a video of my experience while going for the achievement:

    • Find an Orb of Yendor
    • Got an Orb of Yendor

To start seeing Orbs of Yendor, you need to have collected at least 10 Hell Daisies in Hell.

To unlock Hell, you need to collect at least 10 treasures of 9 different areas, there are dozens of areas in the game so this should take between 30 mins to 1 hour if you choose the easier areas.

Once you start seeing Yendor orbs, now its the tricky part, getting a key for one.
The problem here is that each orb has a unique key thats 100 tiles away, that means you need to go get the key and then, find your way back.

With how the navigation of this game is, its super hard to navigate back to the orb unless you are a genius in mapping hyperspace.
This is why we have some tools to leave a trail back to the orb while we go find the key.

Its super important to pick the right orb, some orbs have keys in very hard areas to backtrack like the jungle or land of eternal motion, so once you have your hell daises, find a crossroads and explore until you find the right orb. Some good areas are Hunting Grounds, Icy Land, Minefield, Living Caves or even Hell itself.

Once you know the key is an easy area, you can use dead orbs (you need to have collected 10 necromancer totems in the graveyard) to leave a trail of them behind, you will need between 20 to 30 orbs unless, you get lucky like me, and can leave a trail behind with an Earth orb. (See video)

You can pick dead orbs and earth orbs in the crossroads once you unlock them by collecting 10 of them in the areas they originally spawn from.

Here is a video of when I unlocked my first orb of Yendor:

    • Master of the Volcano

This one was so much fun, I got super lucky and did it on my third try.

The Volcanic Wasteland is a midlevel land that unlocks after collecting 10 treasures from the basic Alchemy lab.

The main feature of the volcano its its raising and receding lava tiles, it works kinda like the ocean but in a more local zone, so you can easily outrun the flow.

This is very useful to leave a mob train behind, as you dash between lava walls as they rise and leave your enemies burning.

Native to the land are Orb of Lava which makes Fire pillars spawn on three of the heptagonal tiles around your enemies, very useful to impede their movements.

The biggest threat here is getting surrounded by lava and enemies, the spawn rate gets ridiculous after 30 orbs and salamanders cant be killed, so they will follow you until they get lost behind lava walls and you escape through a filled lava hallway.

Killing the fire wolves is a good way to increase spawn rate and prevent them ammasing behind you on a train, so if you can spare a turn or two, do kill them before it gets dangerous.

The laval walls blocking your way when you are running for life are very tricky to measure so spend some time learning the timing and colors of the tiles so you can do quick decisions if you can get through that hallway in time, mousing over the tile will tell you how many turns until the tile is filled with lava.

You can enter a tile that just filled with lava but you cant stay! So, you cant pass a turn on a lava filled tile even though, if you got there at the exact moment it filled up, you will be fine (happened to me in the video a few times)

I had Orbs of Fire spawning in my run, they helped a lot but they also ruined my second try if you get yourself caught between the eternal fires you leave behind, lava walls and incoming enemies.

You get orb of fires to spawn in here by collecting 25 or more Powerstones in the land of Power.

    Good luck!

Here is the video of my lucky run, was mega fun!
