Walkthrough & 100% Achievement Guide

A complete walkthrough aiming to guide you through all of the games achievements in 30-40 minutes.

Introduction

This walkthrough will guide you through the game, unlocking all of the achievements in the process. The final achievement is actually unlocked before the end of the game for anyone who wants to drop out at that point.

Dialogue choices are listed in brackets but only when specific choices need to be picked. Directions, characters and other interactions are marked on the screenshots. Where minigames occur your score is irrelevant they merely need to be started to unlock the associated achievements.

As the focus of this guide is the achievements it won't cover every possible interaction. The completion will take you 30 to 40 minutes.

Spotting the Plague

Start by talking to your father and then using the door to go outside.

Open your inventory, select the sign and place it on the door. Head back inside, speak to your Father and then head back out again. Speak to Mario (Do you know anything about the disease?)

Terrible Times

Once again head back inside and this time collect the Tinderbox. Go upstairs and speak to your Father. When prompted go back downstairs and speak to Giuseppe. Return upstairs to talk to your Father again and then back down to speak to Giuseppe (Four / It brings balance to the system).

At Giuseppe's speak to Mrs. Dona and complete the minigame. Talk to Giuseppe and then your Father. Leave your house and the courtyard and then head South down the steps.

Check the barrel to acquire a jug of wine and then talk to Riddler (Have you found a ring? / My age / An R) before exiting North twice to reach the marketplace.

Talk to Corelia (I think you should stay and help your family as best you can / I'm sure it will - Heaven awaits you).

Achievement Unlocked - Terrible Times

Path of the Plague

Exit the market through the arch to the east and talk to Lorenzo. Use the door and then the knocker to scare off the chicken. Then follow Lorenzo's solution as shown on screen.

Talk to Arnetto and then head outside. Talk to Tempus the mouse to recieve the Goggles and then re-enter Arnetto's.

Open you inventory and use the goggles first on yourself and then on the computer to start another mini game.

Achievement unlocked - Path of the Plague

Rats! and Epidemica

Exit west back to the market and use the goggles on yourself and the rat poison. Exit to the south.

Open your inventory and use the rat poison on a rat.

Achievement Unlocked - Rats!

Then use the googles on yourself and Dr. Millsworth.

Achievement Unlocked - Epidemica

Note - Dr. Millsworth is the plague doctor. He's missing from the screenshot though his location is still marked.

Micro Killers & Plague Purging

Return to the courtyard outside your home and speak to Mario (Can I help? / I'll help you) for another minigame. Then return to the market.

Talk to Enzo (Yes, I should have enough money / I'll give you a full pouch of florins) to acquire the Rosemary and then return home with it.

Open your inventory and use the goggles on yourself and the microscope for yet another minigame (In 3, In 3, In 3, Out 2).

Achievement Unlocked - Micro Killers

Head upstairs.

Open your inventory and use the Goggles on your self and the antibiotics and then use the antibiotics on yourself to heal.

Achievement Unlocked - Plage purging

Death spotter

Talk to Father, use the rosemary on the bowl, then use the tinderbox on the bowl. Talk to your father then go downstairs and talk to him again. Now head back to the marketplace.

Talk to the guard and then exit to the North.

Take the scourge and again exit to the north.

Enter the Church and talk to Sebastian (My mother is ill - maybe it's the plague). Exit the church, and move back throught the marketplace to talk to Riddler (Special Document). Return to the Church and talk to Sebastian again (Help translate the document). Exit the church and speak to Schwarzer (I need a relic) to recieve a blood soaked rag. Head back into the Church and speak to Sebastian once more (I have your relic / Help translate the document).

Return home and speak to your father then leave and speak to Arnetto. Return home and head upstairs using the goggles to pick up more antibiotics if you need to heal again.

Then talk to your Mother (That’s Good. The Sick have buboes. Where do you feel pain? / The plague attacks the whole body, not just parts of it. Do you vomit blood? / Okay that’s a good sign. Plague victims often throw up bloody vomit. / I don’t think it’s the plague. I’l tell father.)

Achievement Unlocked - Death spotter (this is the final achievement)

Completing the game

Head back downstairs and talk to your father. Return to the market, exit to the West and talk to the Guard (How can I get through? / For a noble's signet ring).

Take the Hayfork and use it on the hay twice to receive a Haypile. Talk to Adolfo and then to Bumpy (Everything is ready now, let's go.). Play the final minigame, then enter your home home and talk to your Father for the last time.

When you're back at the gate click on the cart and make your final choice to complete the game.
