    Keep a steady pace where the energy meter is about 25% full only for the entire time from 0-200 and you should unlock this. Going very fast and then very slow won't work as the energy will deplete too much for you to continue on.

    If you would rather grind the chops for this: just slam the down arrow and the left arrow keys in single player and you'll have this within hours.

    • Mighty Mr Tree

    I used two hands to increase my reaction time. Left index finger on the left arrow key, right index finger on the right arrow key. You can see this through my camera in the video I recorded of my run.

    Keep in mind, towards the end you will have to go decently fast as to avoid the bar not decreasing too much.

    It takes me just over 2 and a half minutes to reach 1000.

    This achievement is pretty elusive to some, but it's not hard to get with the proper strategy.

    There are two ways you can go about obtaining it:

    1. Reaching out to 10 different friends who own the game and are willing to help you with the achievement.
    2. Facing off against 10 different random opponents online and winning against them. If you play over the course of a few evenings, you shouldn't have much trouble finding opponents, even all of these years later.

    Of course, for each of these 10 matches, you'll need to face off against a "much stronger" opponent. In order to do this more easily, go to options and hit "Reset Stats" to reset your skill level to 0. Rest assured, using this button won't affect anything other than your multiplayer rankings. You'll need to win against 10 separate users that have around 100+ skill with this methods, which isn't hard to come across. Most online players these days won't be a challenge to win against if you've already gotten good at this game. If this is your last or second to last achievement, as it is for many, then it's probable that you'll already have proven capable of a score of 1000+.

    You can reset your stats in between matches if your skill gets too high. This will NOT affect your achievement progress for Dark Horse.
