    • Ogre Shaman

hah, just a small note that the unit I got the achievement with was not called "Ogre Shaman".

It was actually an "Ogre Warlock" and I know you could also hire "Ogre Mages"

They were at an Inn and hired them as mercenaries.

You might also get this achievement through a quick battle which is an option when you start a single player game.

Pick an arena, get an ogre mage/warlock on your team and put some weaksauce in the enemy team. and have at it.

    Cheers.

A lot of achievements need for you to win with a certain sorcerer lord and race, you can win under 10 minutes if you bum rush them like this.

I didnt know Asmodeus didnt have his own achievement, so check on your SL before going for achievements so you can double dip (a race and a SL achievo)

Here is a video, you basically start with all the advantages, use your town to rush out a 10~12 unit party while scouting with summoned ghosts.

If you can summon troops, the better, you want to rush to avoid them getting walls (palisade).

You can join your scouting ghosts with the raid party before you attack if you have space for them.

Choosing Paradise as a Plane is important so you can start with a lot of food to maintain your army.

Choosing a tiny(30%) pangea (one continent) is important so you can find and get to your enemy faster.

Once your army is ready, go get them, it can be done pretty quickly under 10 minutes.

Here's a video showing how I did it for Dark Elves with Asmodeus but this strategy should work on any game.

    New Method:

    • High Lord
    • Grey Eminence
    • Bad Mojo
    • Matriarch
    • Dragonlance
    • Sorcerer under the Mountain
    • Princess Maker
    • Sorcerer of Fortune
    • Big Boss
    • Behold
    • God Gog
    • Hollow King
    • The Old Man and the throne
    • I see darkness
    • Life is Good
    • New girl
    • Scaly Suprise
    • The Stout King
    • Necronomicon
    • Lady Dracula

Easy method is to rush a win setting up the game to your advantage.

Basically you need Paradise for the extra food and set it at 30% to find the rival SL as quickly as possible.

Start off building a 10~12 unit army and summon a scouting spirit every round both to find your enemy and complement your army when you attack.

Slide your power management to 100% mana income, have all your population as farmers except 2 of them to train your troops.

Slide your taxes accordingly to get the money.

I choose Draconians because they can fly and will get to the enemy faster but this works for any race you might need an achievement for.

Not all available Sorcerer Lords have an associated achievement, so check for the ones that do before starting a game.

I tried gifting heroes through diplomacy but they always disbanded them, so I had to find another method and I did.

If you get lucky, it might be possible to go against the Sorcerer Lord named Markas, he always starts the game with a hero since he has the mentor discipline.

If you create a huge singular map (One plane, 30% land, 7 Rival SL), you can create a new game as much times as you need until you get Markas as one of the SL rivals, then focus research to get Cold Pulse or similar strategic destructive spell (or better yet, play as a custom SL that starts off with it and with Cartographer to boot)

Cast and store around 4 or 6 Cold Pulses to finish off the hero in a single turn, Achievement Unlocked!

I honestly tried this for about an hour and never found Markas.. for some reason, I was unlucky maybe because I did find him while grinding SL wins, on a duel map no less, unfortunately, I couldnt get a strategic offensive spell to kill his hero with.

I finally got the achievement going for Best Friends Forever, I have a theory they disband the heroes because they cannot maintain the upkeep, so gift the hero to someone with a strong economy and in war with someone else, make sure you have those spells stored and ready to go when you do.

    Cheers!

    • Undead Leader

I got him with Summon Hero, it didnt unlock.

You need to find him and recruit him at an Inn or him coming to you during a start-of-turn event.

If you need to better the odds, try having high fame and no heroes in your army, that should make the RNG give you more heroes per Inn refresh.

If you are having trouble finding Kjorgi at Inns, you can try to summon him.

What I did is to have a save with 6 summon champion and 6 summon hero stored in my magic box.

Use 3 spells, check for a hero/champion you need, if it isnt there, disband them.

Use another 3 spells and try again, once you run out of spells and you havent had a hero you need, reload and try again.

Kjorgi came with a Summon Hero spell.

Once with Kjorgi in tow, find a town about to be attacked and put him there, do not autofight.

Start the battle and play it or Autoresolve, once you win, you'll get the achievement.

Here is a video of how I did it:

The Last urathian is a Titan, not a hero.

You can recruit titans at Altar of Titan which looks like a statue holding the world.

These are rare and special buildings found in the world map and they are guarded by powerful monsters.

Once you conquer one, a random titan will be available for recruitment, the titan which is tied to the altar is set when the game starts so you cannot save scum to get the last Uruthian, you need luck.

There are 10 titans in the game, so your chance of getting the one you need is 1/10, the bigger the world and the more special buildings you set, the more titan altars you might find per run.

To help you with this, consider playing a new game with the biggest map you can and start with Cartographer->Planar Cartographer.

To be fair, I've only seen these altars in Earth, Fire Water or Air planes on Deserts and Tundras, the max number of altars in a run I've had is 8.

I've even seen all eight in a single plane on 30% land but always on either desert or tundras, so yeah, its possible to roll a good map.

The more altars you can roll at the beginning, the more chances you will find the Last Uruthian on your run.

For example, if you can confirm 8 altars in your run, you only have 2/10 chance of NOT finding him, since titans altars do not have duplicate titans.

    Good luck!
