- Failure Breeds Success
The earliest opportunity to attempt this is Act 1-3: Giant.
This requires the KNRB-0 Argus to be in it's second (bipedal) form. You need to destroy each of the listed weak spots before finishing the robot off. The legs are also a weak spot but destroying them isn't required. Each of these weak spots can be identified by it's orange glow. After destroying a weak spot the robot will collapse and expose it's core - destroying the core destroys the robot. You can start taking out the core during the collapses to shorten the duration of the fight but do not attack additional weak spots during the collapses as it won't destroy them. When attacking the head you will be prompted with a QTE, completing this does not void the achievement.
An alternative location to attempt this is Act 2-3: Nightmare where you will have to fight two Argus robots in order to unlock the
Failure Breeds Success achievement

0- A Heartbreaker and Lifetaker
Typically when using a melee attack you overheat the ARS suit and have to wait for it to cool down before you can attack again. However this cooldown can be bypassed by attacking whilst wielding the Disk launcher which has a unique melee attack.
Load up Act 2:1 - River, move around the corner and open the weapon box. If the box doesn't contain a Disk Launcher then restart the checkpoint and repeat until you have obtained one. Once you have a Disk launcher move forward and allow the enemy to kill you, this will save your loadout and allow you to restart the checkpoint with the Disk Launcher. Once you've acquired the Disk Launcher and restarted the checkpoint boost under the truck on the left and proceed to melee all of the robots. Then reload the checkpoint and repeat as necessary to reach the required 100 kills.
For reference, after my initial playthrough on Casual I only needed one run here to reach 100 kills.

0- Romanov This!
- Brutality Bonus
- The Hand of God
As you progress through the game you will encounter four different Romanov models (D, F, G and N), but the model has no bearing on the achievement.
Where your first encounter takes place varies depending on the difficulty level with the first possible encounter being Act 1-3: Giant. However if you've either not encountered one there or missed that opportunity then load Act 1-7: Seismic as this checkpoint is located immediately before a fight which includes three Romanov's regardless of difficulty. You'll need to damage the Romanov prior to your melee attack as even on Casual a single melee attack doesn't do enough damage to destroy one outright.
Whilst you can attempt the two other Romanov dependent achievements (
Brutality Bonus
andThe Hand of God
) at the same time this isn't the ideal location for those due the presence of an allied railgun. These are the Romanov models for reference.

0- 40 Yard Dash
This is best attempted after clearing an area but before triggering the next checkpoint but can be unlocked at any point. Hold L1/LB/Shift to boost and release just before the boost meter ends and the suit overheats. Despite the achievement title the distance is not important and you can in fact just boost into an obstacle as long as you maintain the boost for it's maximum duration.

0- Gun Runner
This achievement requires you to collect the ten guns available in the base game. You start the game with five and can collect two during the tutorial leaving three to be unlocked in latter missions. This achievement does not require you to collect the three weapons that were originally part of the Tri-Weapon Pack DLC. Weapons can be collected either from fallen troops or collected from the green weapon caches throughout the game. The content of the cases is random but you should find all three of the required weapons within the first Act.
You start the game with the following weapons:
- Assault Rifle
- Heavy Machine Gun
- Shotgun
- EMP Emitter
- Hand Grenade
You can collect the following weapons during the tutorial:
- Rocket Launcher
- Disk Launcher
You need to collect the following weapons:
- LFE Gun
- Lock-On Laser
- Sniper Rifle
You DO NOT need to collect the following weapons:
- Boost Machine Gun
- Laser Cannon
- Anti-Armor Pistol

0- Robots Tend to Blow Up
This can be unlocked at pretty much any point throughout the campaign. Two early points that stand out however are Act 1-3: Giant and Act 2-1: River. During the former you will encounter dropships that provide an opportunity to earn this achievement as you can destroy the disembarking troops before they leave the ship and disperse. During the latter you will immediately encounter a number of Gorgie-USN and Chicane's blocking the path that are grouped closely enough together.

0- Helloooo, Nurse
- Knight in Shining White Armor
Throughout the game friendly troops will be downed by enemy fire. When this happens they'll fall to the ground and have a cross symbol above them. Run up to one and press X/Square/E and you will revive the troop. Repeat another nineteen times to also unlock

0- Robots Tend to Blow Up
- Trick Shot
- Two Birds with One Stone
- Hole-in-One
- Flash! King of the Impossible
Whilst you can theoretically get this at any point at which you have both the Lock-on Laser and four enemies there are a couple of spots that are ideal for attempting this. Weapon boxes are random so for either of these methods you want to find the weapon and then restart the checkpoint so that if you die or fail to get the required kills you can restart the checkpoint again whilst keeping the weapon.
Act 1-6: Darkness - During this stage you have to defend a vehicle from enemies in a tunnel. First take out one of the Jellyfish-L and switch to the Lock-on Laser. When the Jellyfish-L explodes it will spawn a number of Jellyfish-M. Lock onto four of these and destroy them. Jellyfish-L spawn two or three at a time so if you fail on the first you'll have another chance. The issue with this method is that due to the low health of the Jellyfish-M the AI can easily destroy them whilst you're locking on and due to the presence of another Jellyfish-L you may not be able to lock onto the right enemies.
Act 2-1: River - Right at the start of this mission you will encounter a number of Gorgie-USN and Chicane's. Boost forward to get ahead of the AI, lock-on and fire. If you have the right weapons you can also use this checkpoint to unlock
Trick Shot
,Robots Tend to Blow Up
,Two Birds with One Stone
andHole-in-One
. There are multiple other achievements that can also be farmed at this checkpoint. -
