Kingdom: New Lands

It seems that only greed kills invalidate the achievement.

Try to find a bear mount on your island and kill bunnies and deer to your hearts content. You'll get more then enough money to survivor without archers.

Another way to help accomplish this is to (I used this technique in the original Kindoms - Classic)

Find a dirt pile inside the forest (may have to cut down one tree to make it available).
Make a wall on this dirt pile.

Once completed, your archers will now defend this wall during the night.
During the day, they will patrol between your castle and this wall.
They will start naturally killing deer that pop up in the forest as they patrol.

Don't cut down any trees between your wall and town as that will reduce the deer population.

Can be done on the first map.
