Scale needs a total reset boost of x10.000. Since I like to play active this seemed very crazy to me.
If you have some diamonds leftover or are willing to spend them; if you reach a high reset boost you can use diamonds to buy the reset boost a few times. It won't go back to 0 this way, making it reach x10.000 very fast if you've got a good reset bonus.

To get a good reset boost take advantage of the fact you can get every guy to level lover 100. It gives you diamonds every 10 levels the first time you reach it and quite a bit of reset boost.

Note that the game has a 100 hour playtime (offline, so a span of 100 hours, not 100 playtime) achievement so if you are an active player like me and used above method you will have to idle for a while.
