If it is too difficult, you can use the built-in cheats to skip the level, which will count as defeating the boss, or to replenish Health.

In the Main Menu select Settings then quickly press BACK and START (Backspace and Esc by default) twice, in a rapid order. If you've done it correctly, your start menu will have a new menu entry titled Debug stuff. Enter the new menu and select the second option, titled set triggers true until appear teleport.

While in game you can now either use F8 to skip the level or press 1 to bring up a debug menu, where you can restore health.
